The Patient Experience Manager at Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) leads efforts to create an exceptional experience for patients, families, and visitors. This role champions a person-centered culture, drives initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and HCAHPS scores, and ensures that the patient voice is integrated into all aspects of care. The Manager collaborates across departments to enhance service excellence, foster staff engagement, and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Promote the CPH Way and a culture of compassion, respect, and service excellence.

Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and HCAHPS scores, including managing Press Ganey programs.

Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate with departments to ensure needs are met.

Chair the Patient-Family Advisory Committee and participate in Health Equity efforts.

Monitor patient feedback to identify trends and drive improvements in care.

Support staff onboarding, training, and well-being, including the Care4U2 program.

Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to enhance workflows and patient experience.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or related field required.

Minimum three (3) years of experience in:

Healthcare – Patient Experience, or
-
Healthcare – Service Excellence, or
-
Relevant healthcare experience in a patient-facing or leadership role
