What are the responsibilities and job description for the Joint Replacement & Spine Coordinator position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
This position is eligible for relocation assistance, great benefits, and a CRITICAL POSITION BONUS as well as RELOCATION ASSISTANCE!
Critical Bonus Amount: $10,000 for a one- year commitment or $25,000 for a two- year commitment
POSITION SUMMARY: Partners with the Surgical Navigator to manage joint replacement services within Surgery and Inpatient departments. Creates functional strategies forthe optimal perioperative care of joint and spine surgical patients by developing, implementing and evaluating individual patient goals. Must applyflexibility and adaptability based on departmental and patient needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Alaska RN License
- 3 years of Acute Care Experience
- Multifaceted knowledge of joint replacement procedures.
- Multifaceted knowledge of surgical spine procedures and solid knowledge of the overall departmental functions.
- BLSP required within 30 days of employment.
