What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA - Activities Aide position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Activity Aide provides a variety of care activities for Residents. Under the direction of a licensed therapist, the Restorative Activity provides restorative services to promote the wellness of Residents. The Restorative Activity Aide also plans and delivers individual and group activity programs for Residents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Alaska.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License
- BLSP (CPR)
- Assumes self-responsibility for obtaining additional training and education to assure that skill level meets the demands of the position.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills with a working knowledge of some common computer programs.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment.
