What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Supervisor position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Supervisor works with the Environmental Services Manager to maintain departmental goals. Participates in maintaining a training program, assuring that all staff are trained to perform their job duties. Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure proper cleaning techniques are followed. Works in accordance with hospital policies, standard practices of the profession, and related state and federal laws. May perform cleaning and disinfecting duties in designated areas of the hospital as well as off-site locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of Environmental Services experience in a healthcare setting OR
- 3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience AND
- 2 years of Environmental Services experience in a healthcare setting
- State of Alaska driver's license
