Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Part-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage payroll processing efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payments for our employees while maintaining compliance with relevant payroll regulations. Responsibilities
- Processing Prevailing Wage and Certified Prevailing Wage Reports
- Emailing contractors CPRS
- Process payroll using payroll management software Paychex ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Filing Payroll Reports
- Reviewing, editing and correction time cards for missed punches
- Reviewing GPS for crew
- Handling direct deposit requests and date
- Processing paper per diem checks for staff that travel
- Computer literacy
- Acquiring all necessary signatures and approvals to process payroll
Experience and Requirements
- Experience with processing prevailing wage and CPR processing, 2 years experience REQUIRED
- Experience with processing payroll, 2 years experience, REQUIRED
- Experience with Paychex time keeping or similar time keeping software, Required
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency)
- Ability to analyze payroll data effectively and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on a team
- Knowledge of payroll of and garnishments
- Strong skillset of organization and attention to detail
- Reliable and have a good attendance record
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
