What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Computer Tech- Part Time position at Central Office?
Technology – Part Time Computer Tech < 20 hrs per week
Description Qualifications:
· Exhibit interest in technology career path or currently enrolled/graduated from college level technology program
· Ability to follow instructions and perform routine maintenance and repair on computing devices and peripherals.
· Basic problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
· Ability to maintain professional demeanor and work well with others as a
team.
· Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Reports to: Technology Director
Performance Objective:
To perform maintenance and repairs for Chromebook and PC-based hardware, software
and peripherals including, but not limited to desktops, chromebooks, laptops,
and printers.
Requirements:
· Troubleshoot and repair chromebook and PC-based hardware and software,
and other similar technology-based equipment.
· Provide assistance with hardware, software, and implementation needs within district.
· Assist in cabling installation indoor/outdoor for connecting technology equipment
· Maintain and update technology-related work orders which may include both hardware and software troubleshooting, documenting all work done
Any other technology tasks assigned by Technology Director.
