What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Nurse position at Central Office?
Summary
Substitute for building level nurse, implementing and assisting with health programs and needs in the building or buildings to which assigned.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Attend to ill or injured children and/or staff at school.
2. Implement required medication schedules and maintain health needs on students.Follow daily plans/needs within assigned building.
3. Maintain the efficient operation of the health office.
4. Keep open communication among administration, staff, and families
5. Treat and/or assist staff in proper health procedures for medically fragile students.
6. Document, record, and keep detailed notes
7. Follow and adhere to Hannibal Public Schools policies and procedures
8. Other duties as assigned
Required credentials
LPN, RN, or BSRN
