What are the responsibilities and job description for the FINANCE SPECIALIST - CENTRAL OFFICE position at Central Office?
Union County Public Schools Central Office is currently seeking applicants for the position of Finance Specialist.
This Finance Specialist position is primarily responsible for the processing of accounts payable. In addition to these responsibilities, the Finance Specialist performs intermediate level administrative work that includes account reconciliations, grant management, inventory controls, document retention processes, maintaining and updating various financial records, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Qualified candidates must have the ability to independently manage multiple projects effectively, be particularly attentive to detailed work and be adaptable to new responsibilities.
Previous work experience with accounts payable in a school finance setting is preferred but not required. One year of experience in maintaining automated financial and statistical records is required.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law.
The Finance Specialist is contracted for 235 days.
