Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Schedule:
Simi flexible. Likely one day a week, serving 1-2 of our locations each week. Fridays could be a good day.
Responsibilities
Cleaning and light duty maintenance at our clinic in Alexandria MN, once a week
Lite duty maintenance at our clinic in Baxter MN, once every 2 weeks
Lite duty maintenance at our clinic in Sartell MN, once a week
To include:
- Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facilities.
- Support facilities maintenance by performing minor repairs and upkeep of equipment and fixtures.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the premises.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
