Overview
Central Kitchens Corp is hiring a Cabinet Maker to join out shop in Southampton, NY. We are a busy, established kitchen and cabinetry company serving the East End of Long Island.
This is a hands on role focusing on building, modifying, and finishing cabinetry, other wood projects, and millwork.
Duties
- Construct custom cabinetry, doors, millwork, and other wood projects according to specifications and plans
- Modify and repair existing cabinetry
- Sand, prep, stain, and assist with spray finishing
- Read shop drawings, layouts, and measurements
- Operate woodworking machinery (table saw, router, planer, etc.)
- Work with designers, installers, shop team, and admin team
- Assist with installation when needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of cabinet making, millwork, or woodworking experience
- Experience using shop tools and machinery
- Ability to read drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s License
Preferred / Plus to have
- Knowledge and experience with cabinet installation
- Knowledge and experience with Formica
- Knowledge and experience with Corian fabrication and installation
- Knowledge and experience with finishing/spraying
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- 40 hrs per week
- 7:30 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 4:30 pm
- Holidays Off
Pay & Benefits
- $25-37 an hour based on experience
