This position is Monday-Friday. No On-Call or Weekends!
Central Kansas Mental Health Center is seeking an APRN/NP to join our growing medical team.
The APRN/NP will provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and ongoing medication management for adults and youth experiencing psychiatric/substance abuse issues. This position operates in an outpatient community mental health center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) setting, and provides holistic care for patients, through collaboration with multidisciplinary treatment teams, families, and other healthcare/social-service systems.
Must maintain confidentiality in accordance with federal, state, and licensing regulations. Documents all services performed, ensuring accurate patient records, effective communication, and high-quality care.
Qualifications: must hold a valid Kansas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license; 2 years psychiatric experience preferred, experience with Substance Use Treatment a plus!
