JobSummary — The Mechanical Level I Technician will perform the professional installation, repair and maintenance of commercial doors and hardware.
Glazier Duties:
Study and interpret assembly instructions.
Fabricate frames, Break metal, and metal parts for buildings and other structures.
Listen to directions from supervisors.
Fabricate and assemble structural aluminum products.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts list.
Assemble tools and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies
Hammer, grind, and chip work pieces.
Assemble components.
Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
Resolve assembly and production issues.
Complete preventive maintenance.
Report errors in quality.

Essential Functions
Participate in any and all applicable training opportunities for both safety and this position.
Report daily job progress to Service and Installation Manager.
Track and maintain all job-related paperwork (and computer system information) and submit in a timely manner.
Reviewing packing slips and materials to assure suitability for the intended application before starting work.
Utilize company vehicles according to CIH’s vehicle policy and applicable laws.
Work a flexible schedule as needed when work dictates.
Work at various job sites including construction sites and existing, in-use, facilities.
Experience & Other Requirements
Experience Preferred but not required
Pre-employment background and drug screening
No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
