Kaytee (Central Garden & Pet) is currently looking to fill Class 4- Level I2nd shiftFiesta Mixerat Kaytee in Chilton, WI Youwouldbe responsible for setting up and running machines,palletizers,and scales.This position is for four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday; enjoy a long weekend every week!At Kaytee, you have the opportunity to work with products for birds, hamsters, rabbits and other small animals.Working at Kaytee means being part of a clean and supportive work environment. - Ensure the quality and accuracy of each mix through visual checks and quality assurance processes.
- Schedule and plan mixing operations to align with the production schedule.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication between Line Leaders, Mill Operators, and Shift Supervisor.
- Record all inventory transactions accurately using RF scanner functions and proper documentation.
- Maintain work area in a clean and organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Understand and know the goals and objectives of the department.
- Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Responsible for reporting any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel for correction.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent bending,liftingand twisting.
- Proficientmath skills required.
- Ability to operate forklift and handcart in a safe manner.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operatean RFscanner device.
- Must have the ability toliftupto 100 lbs. occasionally (with assistance).
- Capable to bend, twist, turn and climb as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Work temperatures can vary due to outside temperatures.
- Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours (on each respective shift) and average at least 40 hours a week.
