Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in residential units and common areas
- Handle lockouts and assist residents with access issues as needed
- Participate in and complete special projects as assigned
- Conduct basic inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and supervisors
- Daily cleaning of facilities and grounds
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a multifamily residential or commercial setting required
- Strong working knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during shift hours
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with consistent weekday evening hours. The role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and safety of housing for residents of the Central Falls Housing community.
