United Skates of America is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Skate Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Rumford, RI location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping equipment safe, clean, and organized.
Position Details
- Hours: 15–20 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Wash and sanitize rental skates
- Perform basic skate repairs and maintenance
- Inspect skates to ensure safety and proper function
- Organize and maintain skate racks and storage areas
- Assist with keeping the skate room clean and orderly
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Comfortable with hands-on, mechanical tasks
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Previous skate repair or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- We are willing to train the right candidate
