Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. degree (or equivalent), be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction) and have a minimum of 2 years post-J.D. (or equivalent) legal or other relevant experience. The United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of Illinois (CDIL) is seeking to fill one Assistant United States Attorney position (AUSA), in the Criminal Division at the Springfield, Illinois location. The selected candidate will be involved in the investigation and prosecution of a wide variety of federal criminal cases, including violent crime, crimes against children, immigration, human trafficking, drugs, national security, firearms trafficking, and white-collar crime.
