Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. degree (or equivalent) and be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction). Responsibilities:
The United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of Illinois (CDIL) is seeking to fill one Assistant United States Attorney position (AUSA), in the Criminal Division at the Urbana, Illinois location. The selected candidate will be involved in the investigation and prosecution of a wide variety of federal criminal cases, including violent crime, crimes against children, immigration, human trafficking, drugs, national security, firearms trafficking, and white-collar crime. AUSAs work in cooperation with their colleagues, as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement officials.Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Salary : $80,000
