Beer Sales Representative (Midcoast)

Seeking motivated sales professional for representation of our growing craft beer and other beverage brand portfolio in the Midcoast area of Maine.

A route sales representative is responsible for sales and support of local beverage distribution operations. Primary responsibilities include calling on customer accounts, soliciting orders, maintaining inventory, building displays, and promoting brands. This role generally calls on independent grocery stores, specialty beverage stores, convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Will also work with brewery representatives to execute on brand distribution objectives.

Job Requirements

• Craft and specialty beer knowledge
• Sales / customer service experience
• Beverage sales experience (preferred)
• Retail account relationships (preferred)
• Social media / web experience
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must have a valid driver's license (with a safe driving record)
• Must have access to a safe and dependable vehicle
• Must have minimum level of auto insurance
• Job requires frequent bending, lifting, stretching.
• Must be able to lift cases with an average weight of 35 pounds.
• May include some nights / weekend activities
• Must live in reasonable proximity to area of service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
