Accounting Clerk

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our Wichita, KS team!

The right candidate will be highly detailed oriented, accurate and organized; a self-starter who possess strong initiative to improve processes and procedures without waiting for specific instructions. This person will ensure a high-quality standard and consistency of service in their position in accordance to Central Consolidated standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable – apply payments to customers account, follow up with unpaid accounts, send out monthly statements and lien waivers
• Run weekly completed work order reports, communicate with Account Managers regarding work order status, and billing of the work order in our ERP system
• Field calls from field service technicians and create purchase orders as needed
• Manage maintenance service spreadsheet to ensure the timely invoicing of maintenance agreements
• Address and resolve customer billing issues as needed
• Supporting other accounting staff as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years Accounting experience, preferred
• Experience in commercial construction, preferred
• Dispatching experience, preferred
• Aptitude to learn and adapt quickly to changing technology
• Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Must have good reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus.
