What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Bible Teacher position at Central Christian School?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Bible Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of middle school students, a love for teaching God’s Word, and a deep commitment to discipling students in their faith. The Middle School Bible Teacher will be responsible for engaging students in Scripture in a way that fosters spiritual growth, biblical literacy, and a personal relationship with Christ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach middle school Bible classes, guiding students through Scripture, biblical themes, and Christian worldview.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that are rooted in God’s Word and relevant to students’ lives.
- Encourage students in their spiritual growth, helping them apply biblical truth to everyday situations.
- Foster a positive and Christ-centered classroom environment where students feel known, valued, and encouraged.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students with different learning styles.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the academic, social, and spiritual development of students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, engagement, and spiritual development.
- Participate in school events, chapel services, spiritual emphasis opportunities, and other extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bible, Theology, Education, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Strong knowledge of Scripture and the ability to teach it in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
- Ability to integrate biblical truth into all aspects of teaching and student interactions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with or teaching middle school students (preferred).
