Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Construction & Safety Manager to oversee construction, safety, and quality activities for a major capital project involving facility retrofit/expansion, cleanroom installation, and semiconductor R&D equipment installation. The selected candidate will work closely with contractors, EHS teams, quality personnel, and project stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Drive a zero-incident safety culture across the project site.
- Partner with EHS and Quality teams to address and resolve safety concerns.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Review contractor schedules and monitor construction progress.
- Support change management processes, including reviewing change orders and contractor estimates
- Coordinate safety meetings, quality reviews, and project status updates.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications and procedures.
- Support permitting activities and coordinate required building inspections.
- Oversee contractor onboarding and site orientation processes.
- Track and report construction KPIs, safety metrics, and project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of Construction Management experience.
- Strong experience managing commercial building construction projects.
- Experience with cleanroom construction and semiconductor facilities.
- Experience overseeing installation of chemical production processes.
- OSHA 30 Certification (Required).
- Experience with safety programs, accident investigations, and incident reporting.
- Knowledge of construction quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $80 - $90
