What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Assistant (Summer 2026) position at Central Berkshire Regional School District?
Central Berkshire Regional School District is seeking a summer (seasonal) assistant to assist the district's IT department.
July 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026.
Tasks:
- Inventory and maintenance of the district's IT resources including PCs, Chromebooks, iPads, and Projectors.
- Setup and inventory of new equipment including Chromebooks and Laptops in preparation for distribution for the next school year.
- Replacement/installation of district IP security cameras and related cabling.
- Replacement of classroom projectors.
- Other duties as assigned by the technology director
- Basic experience with operating systems including Windows 10, Apple iOS, and Chrome OS.
- Basic experience with computer and network hardware.
- Ability to accurately record data for the purpose of inventorying new and existing equipment.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team and take direction from district IT staff.
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all district staff.
REPORTS TO: Technology Director
SALARY: $18.54 per hour
