Target 11-week Internship Dates: 5/18/26 – 7/30/26
(4-10 work schedule M-Th 7am - 5:30pm) Some flexibility with scheduled hours. May have the opportunity for one day a week remote work (conditions apply).
Work collaboratively with the CAP Contract & Procurement Services team to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Contracting and Procuring commodities and services.
Position Responsibilitie
sPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- :Work with CAP Contract & Procurement Services staff to develop, solicit, and administer contract documents for the procurement of equipment, materials, supplies, and services necessary to support the CAP operation
- .Assist with drafting informal and formal solicitation documents
- .Assist in the formal evaluation process
- .Assist with contract documentation audits to show compliance with federal and state laws and the CAP's Administrative Policy Purchasing
- .Assist with rectifying any discrepancies in shipping, receiving, or accounts payable
- .Assist with pre-proposal/post-award conferences, and site visits
- .At end of the 11-week engagement, intern will prepare and deliver a presentation which includes
