What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Nurse | Clinical Cardiology position at CentraCare?
CentraCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Practice Nurse to join our Clinical Cardiology team. In this role you will work primarily with a cardiologist assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease through hospital, clinic and outreach services.
Current opening:
- Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | On-site (primarily at our outreach site in Wilmar)
- Days | 7:30am-5pm range | Limited weekend
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour
- Pay range: $41.34 - $62.01 per hour

Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program required, BSN or MSN preferred
- BSN required within three (3) years
- Current Minnesota RN license required.
- 1 year of recent cardiology work (i.e., critical care nursing, heart catheterization, emergency room) required.
- 2 years of experience working in a cardiovascular disease program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required.
- Sufficient knowledge to recognize abnormal laboratory data and other diagnostic testing results necessitating reporting to physicians required.
- A valid Minnesota class D driver’s license and a vehicle available for work, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
