Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is a surgical practice that is driven by delivering the highest quality and compassionate surgical care to its patients. Our practice is led by Deepak Kademani, a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon and offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery including cosmetic and trauma related facial surgery.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota.
- Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
- Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to satellite offices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation:
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care.
- Surgical Assistance:
- Assist surgeons during procedures
- Post-Operative Care:
- Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management
- Patient Management and Education:
- Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with surgeons
- Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner.
- Travel to Satellite Offices:
- Periodic travel to our satellite offices
- Be available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed.
