About the Role
We are seeking two detail-oriented, native English-speaking data evaluation specialists to join a short-term project focused on enhancing the quality and accuracy of our global dataset. This role is critical to ensuring our data meets international standards and supports reliable decision-making across markets. You will work remotely as part of a small, collaborative team, contributing directly to data validation, error identification, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and validate large volumes of structured/unstructured data from diverse overseas sources (e.g., user-generated content, market trends, regional metrics), ensuring alignment with predefined quality benchmarks.
- Identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or gaps in data entries; document findings with clear, actionable feedback for internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., data engineers, analysts) to clarify ambiguous data points and refine evaluation criteria.
- Conduct periodic audits of existing datasets to maintain ongoing accuracy and compliance with global data policies.
- Generate concise reports summarizing evaluation results, trends, and recommendations to improve data collection workflows.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Native in English (spoken and written), with no accent barriers to global communication; raised in a pure English-speaking environment (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.).
- Proven experience in data evaluation, quality assurance, or similar roles (1 years preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors in complex datasets.
- Familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and comfort working with digital platforms for data review.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced setting.
- Availability to start by mid-March 2024 and commit to the full project duration.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with multilingual or cross-cultural data (e.g., evaluating non-English source data translated into English).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) relevant to global data handling.
- Prior work in tech, e-commerce, or market research industries.
