Nursing Home Housekeeper / Laundry Aide – Evening Shift

Duties & Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Perform detailed cleaning throughout resident rooms, common areas, and designated facility spaces
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety at all times
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is cleaned and in proper working condition
- Remove trash and soiled linens; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Assist with floor care; floor tech, stripping, and waxing experience is a plus
- Work collaboratively as part of the Environmental Services team
- Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens and personal clothing
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens and garments to units daily
- Follow infection control guidelines when handling soiled items
- Label or identify resident clothing when needed to ensure proper return
- Maintain laundry room cleanliness, organization, and machine upkeep
- Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when inventory is low
$16.50-$18.50/hour
