What you’ll do:
- Develop and evaluate Medicare payment policies with clinical input
- Conduct policy analysis related to Prospective Payment Systems (PPS)
- Provide clinical consultation to leadership and stakeholders
- Prepare policy documents, regulatory text, and briefing materials
- Collaborate across CMS and with external partners on healthcare policy
What we’re looking for (GS-13):
Applicants must have 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-12, including:
- Providing clinical input into Medicare payment policy
- Analyzing healthcare payment systems (e.g., PPS, billing, provider operations)
- Advising on clinical application of payment provisions
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must have passed NCLEX
- Degree from an accredited nursing program (transcripts required)
