Assistant Office ManagerCenters for Family Change, a well-established and growing psychotherapy practice in Oakbrook, Illinois, is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented individual for an office position. Serving children and families in the surrounding suburbs for over 40 years, we are deeply committed to providing quality care for a wide range of clinical concerns.This role is a key partner to the Office Manager and Practice Owners, focusing on enhancing the client and employee experience. The office culture is professional and friendly, emphasizing compliance with all HIPAA privacy rules (training provided).Primary Responsibilities:Assisting the Office Manager with day-to-day office operationsPerforming general office work, including scanning, faxing, and handling incoming calls.Bookkeeping, auditing, and expense tracking.Following up with our 3rd party vendor/biller.Analyzing reports and implementing policies and procedures, requiring strong electronic organizational skills.Assisting with staff onboarding and providing general staff support.Managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.Opportunity for Growth:The successful candidate will learn all office functions, ranging from basic tasks to more complex areas, including:Monitoring the billing process and insurance payments.Managing the intake process.Conducting income audits and insurance benefit reviews.There is also potential to transition into assisting the Office Manager with payroll and bank reconciliation.Compensation and Benefits:Hourly Rate: $22 to $23 per hour. Potential for increases depending on the ability to take on additional duties. 35-40 hours per week.Location: Oak Brook office.Benefits: Health insurance, dental insurance, and participation in a Simple IRA plan are available.
