Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer. This role offers hands-on experience working on construction projects in commercial developments. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing
- Record field notes, sketches, and supplemental measurements as instructed, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support traffic control and site safety procedures in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and equipment before, during, and after fieldwork.
- Report discrepancies, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or unclear instructions to the Party Chief immediately.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle survey equipment and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic understanding of measurements, directions, and construction terminology preferred.
- Willingness to learn surveying methods, procedures, and field equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
