What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Construction Laborer position at Centermoreland Concrete?
Summary:
We are a family-owned precast concrete company looking to add to our crew. This role is ideal for dependable, versatile individuals who enjoy a hands-on job, fast-paced environment, and a variety of daily tasks.
After training, employees are often expected to work on tasks independently.
All pouring takes place inside our plant, so this is a year-round position!
Wages based on experience and skill set. Full-time and OT.
Workday begins at 7AM M-F.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disassemble concrete molds
- Set up molds for production
- Measure, cut, and tie reinforcement materials
- Pour and finish concrete products
- Assist with some on-site installation
Necessary Skills:
- Accurate use of a tape measure
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow direction
- Construction or concrete experience preferred
Requirements: (safety-sensitive position)
- Must pass drug screening (pre-hire and random)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and stand, bend, climb, maneuver
- Medical clearance for physical labor
- Reliable transportation
