Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our construction operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Loading, unloading, carrying, and stacking materials like lumber, plywood, and other construction materials.
- Performing basic carpentry tasks under the supervision of a carpenter, such as measuring, cutting, and fastening materials.
- Perform demolition tasks under supervision of a skilled tradesman.
- Providing support to other trades workers, such as electricians and plumbers, when needed.
- Being mindful of and protecting customer property from damage during construction.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including saws, drills, weed wackers, etc.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Maintain a positive attitude, cultivating positive relationships with customers and fellow co-workers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working on ladders and working at moderate heights is a requirement.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety protocols.
