Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Johnstown, Colorado

Exempt (salary) or nonexempt (hourly) position: Nonexempt (hourly)
Full time position
Pay: $18 to $25 based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm
(8am-4:30 is with a 30-minute lunch break. There is an option to work 8am-5pm with a one-hour lunch break.)
Summary
An employee in this position is responsible for performing secretarial duties, supporting administration, managing/ordering office supplies, and Accounts Payable data entry. Candidates must have attention to detail and strong communication skills. They should have a teamwork mentality and willingness to perform other duties as required. Most importantly, candidates must be safety conscious of themselves and everyone around them.
An ideal candidate will have several years of experience in office/administrative duties. They will be well-organized, have professional communication skills, and be competent in the use of computer software, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities
· Main roles and responsibilities are: performing secretarial duties, supporting administration, managing/ordering office supplies, and Accounts Payable data entry.
· Acting as front desk receptionist, receiving visitors and deliveries
· Receiving calls, taking messages, and routing correspondence
· Coordinating schedules, emails, incoming and outgoing mail, and management requests and queries appropriately
· Performing Accounts Payable data entry under the direction of the Accounting Manager
· Assisting staff with office duties such as copying, email handling, and document preparation
· Creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image in the office
· Must be able to coordinate and collaborate with multiple personnel from the field to the office
· Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.
· Keeping reception area, office supply area, and breakroom tidy, organized, and stocked
· Ordering office and breakroom supplies
· Coordinating office area maintenance
· Must be able to communicate effectively, have good teamwork skills, and be able to understand, comprehend, and follow policies and directions in the workplace
· Run occasional errands as requested
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Prior experience in secretarial and/or administrative assistant roles
· Full comprehension of office administrative systems and procedures
· Detail-oriented and able to take direction
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
· Possession of a valid driver’s license
· A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times
· Must have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimum customer service

Physical Requirements
· The essential functions of this position consist of spending long periods of time at a desk working on a computer and using the phone, waking up a flight of stairs to communicate with administrators in their office, and moving around the building to manage supplies and distribute paperwork/mail.
· Physical activities of standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying, twisting, kneeling, stooping, bending and crouching as required. This position also involves handling equipment ranging in weight from 1-50 lbs.
· Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time
· Capacity to reason and make sound decisions
· Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
