Center Street Property Management is seeking a highly organized, dependable Property Management Operations Assistant to provide direct support to our Vice President and help streamline day-to-day operations across our portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and cross-department coordination—and who doesn’t mind stepping in at properties when needed to keep things running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
Executive & Operations Support
- Serve as a key support partner to the VP, helping prioritize tasks, organize workflows, and ensure timely completion of initiatives
- Assist with preparing reports, gathering data, and maintaining operational systems
- Help coordinate company-wide processes, deadlines, and communication between properties and corporate
Vendor, HOA & Multi-Family Property Coordination
- Coordinate with HOA vendors and tenants on maintenance items, inspections, and compliance
- Schedule recurring services such as filter changes and grease trap cleanings
- Conduct and track quarterly property audits
- Audit make-ready boards, aged receivables, credits, and compliance items
- Track weekly and monthly submissions: market surveys, light logs, property reports, monthly calendars, and CSPM directory updates
Maintenance & Event Support
- Plan and help execute company events including Maintenance Appreciation Day, summer gatherings, and the annual holiday party
- Create maintenance on-call schedules and support onsite team coordination
Accounting & Compliance
- Audit write-offs and identify accounts to send to collections
- Process payroll submissions and send reports to leadership
- Enter mileage reimbursements and invoices
- Audit renter’s insurance and Grace Hill compliance
HR & Employee Support
- Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, orientations, transfers/changes, and offboarding
- Track and recognize employee anniversaries and birthdays
- Coordinate monthly employee evaluations
Marketing & Communication
- Assist with social media content such as employee spotlights and company activities
- Update property listings, websites, and ads
- Respond to general emails and answer office phone
Property & Leasing Office Coverage
- Provide in-person leasing office support at properties when needed
- Assist with tours, resident communication, and administrative tasks to support onsite teams during staffing gaps
Who You Are
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable supporting executive leadership while coordinating across multiple departments
- Confident communicator who can work with vendors, employees, residents, and leadership
- Adaptable and ready to assist at properties when needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management systems (preferred)
- A proactive multitasker who excels in a fast-paced operations environment
