Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning duties in patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and administrative areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, handrails, light switches, bed railings, and countertops
- Dispose of waste, including biomedical waste, according to healthcare facility protocols
- Follow infection control procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Replenish restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitizer
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisory staff
- Operate housekeeping equipment, such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and disinfecting equipment, safely and effectively
- Maintain organization of housekeeping storage areas and cleaning carts
- Support a positive, respectful, and compassionate atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff
- Entry-level position; no prior housekeeping experience required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the care team
