Join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist at our dynamic organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Job Summary:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations by managing the accounts payable process. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Essential Functions:
· Prepares monthly current maturity and long term debt entries
· Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
· Processes journal entries and other inter-company transactions.
· Reviews and posts AP invoice registers, prepared by AP Clerk.
· Manages cash reporting for two entities.
· Prepares amortization journal entries for prepaid expenses.
· Reviews, approves and posts small business cash receipts, prepared by another member of the Accounting Team.
· Ensure all internal controls are followed relating to assigned functions, accounts payable, cash, fixed assets, etc.
· Prepares various year-end audit schedules; interact with company external auditing firm and internal auditors
The qualification listed below must support the essential functions and serve as the primary criteria for selecting candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting required, with a minimum three-to-five (3-5) years’ work experience required. Proficient in MS Office applications and General Ledger experience.
-Driver’s license preferred
-To meet all required background checks and drug testing upon hire and annually, as required by Regulatory Authorities.

To apply Federal Regulatory requirements to the job tasks

Ability to use a computer or other electronic device to access agency email and complete job duties.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
