Admissions / Marketing Director Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing strategies to maximize admissions, including daily contact with potential referral sources
- Work with local community organizations and hospitals to generate a positive image and encourage referrals
- Effectively manage electronic referral programs
- Conduct screening of potential residents, by determining the level of care, services required, equipment needs, and insurance coverage
- Facilitate the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner
- Exhibit knowledge of the admissions process, including policy, procedures, assessments & paperwork requirements
- Support the facility's PR to generate a positive image & encourage word-of-mouth referrals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes
- Provide scheduled on-site tours of the facility for potential residents as needed
- Performs other related job duties as required
- Three years' experience as an Admissions / Marketing Director in a long-term care or other related healthcare facility
- Clerical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or a health-related field preferred
