Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Location: Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home

Position Overview:

Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home is seeking compassionate and reliable CNAs to join our team for the 11–7 shift. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing hands-on care, comfort, and support to our residents, helping them maintain dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with residents and families
• Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
• Assist with meal setup and feeding as needed
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols at all times
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in New York State
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
