What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent, Tri-unity Christian School position at Center for the Advancement of Christian Education?
The Superintendent will serve as the chief executive officer of the school, charged with day-to-day oversight of spiritual, academic, and fiscal operations. The candidate will exemplify a vibrant and growing Christian faith and present a clear apologetic for and commitment to a spirit-filled learning environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Assist the Board of Trustees on vision and policy issues and the development and implementation of a strategic plan.
- Recruit, develop, support, and retain exceptional administrators, teachers, and staff members aligned with the school mission, statement of faith, and core values.
- Lead the strategic development and sustainability of enrollment, marketing, fund development, recruiting, and retention plans.
- Oversee advancement operations, including new campaign initiatives, and the cultivation of current and new donor relationships.
- Partner with principals to oversee student academic, social, spiritual, and disciplinary concerns.
- Plan for and lead the mandate for the professional and spiritual growth of faculty and staff members.
- Proven record of raising academic performance through data-informed assessment practices and instructional alignment across grade levels and content areas.
- Actively participate in the curricular and co-curricular life of the school.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience in educational leadership; Superintendent experience preferred.
- High School teaching experience preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership.
KEY TASKS
ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERSHIP
- Communicate his/her vision for the school’s continued growth and development to the Board and Association Members
- Support the growth and development of the Board of Trustees
- Mentor Administrative team
- Work with team to hire the right personnel
- Strategic planning
INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Work with program principals to determine curriculum needs
- Work with principals to help develop the classroom teachers
- Understand the parent community
- Evaluate principals
OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Work with Business Office to develop and help manage school budget
- Oversee maintenance of the school
SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP
- Superintendent is the chief spiritual leader of the school
- Superintendent must uphold and convey the Biblical standards as stated in the Bible
- Superintendent must be baptized in the Holy Spirit, accompanied by spiritual gifts and
the fruit of the Spirit
- Model Christ to students/parents in all situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
