Well established Ophthalmology practice seeks a part-time Medical Assistant- Front Office Receptionist. We are looking for a team player who will work well with others on staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering multiple telephone lines
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Checking in and checking out patients
- Insurance verification
- Preparing charts for upcoming appointments
- Communication with other doctors’ offices
Qualifications
- Previous office experience preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Positive and professional attitude
- Previous customer service experience
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
