Center for Pain Management is seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding medical services.
- Verify patient information and update records in our electronic health system.
- Collect patient co-pays, fees or payments
- Verify insurance eligibility when necessary
- Prepare and maintain patient charts and documents.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist with general office duties such as filing, faxing, and managing supplies.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or reception setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Monday - Friday
No nights or weekends

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
