Position Summary
The Summer Work Experience Job Coach has the primary responsibility to provide the Summer Work Experience (SWE) Interns with the supports he/she needs to successfully complete their employment internship at the host employment site. These supports may include verbal prompts, creation of checklists, assisting in the completion of paperwork, breaking down tasks, brainstorming accommodations, etc.

These supports may include verbal prompts, creation of checklists, assisting in the completion of paperwork, breaking down tasks, brainstorming accommodations, etc.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Must build rapport with SWE Interns but also with management, supervisors, and coworkers at host employment sites.
- Prepare analysis of work environment, requirements and specific job analysis and teach skills necessary for SWE Interns to meet or exceed performance expectations
- Ability to prioritize, plan work independently, receive constructive feedback and apply Employment Services department training into the work place
- Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner while maintaining CARF and funding standards and regulations
- Assist SWE interns understanding the value of the summer internship
- Respectful to all SWE Interns
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to include active listening
- Identify assistive technology or accommodations needed and support SWE Interns in obtaining resources if necessary
- Ensure host employer needs are being met
- Transport SWE Interns to and from hos employment sites if necessary
