Position Summary
The Apartment Manager supports the CHS mission by providing effective tenant relations, property maintenance, and assisting with program eligibility.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- As the primary point of contact, assists tenants by responding to tenant inquiries and concerns.
- Assists the Operations Coordinator by managing the recertification process and lease management.
- Ensures property is well-maintained by regular property inspections, maintaining common areas, and coordinating make-ready procedures.
- Fosters a positive, safe environment for residents by ensuring the property complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.

- Travel by personal vehicle as needed.
- Prolonged periods of working at a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience as an apartment manager
- 1 year of experience as a property manager
- Free Rent/Utilities in lieu of wages
- $15.00/hr. If more than 15 hrs. worked a week
