What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intra-Op RN GI Focus position at Center for Health Ambulatory Surgery Center at Kumpf Blvd?
We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Registered Nurse to join our ASC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient screening colonoscopies. Through nurse- administered sedation, the nurse will ensure safety, comfort and a seamless experience during the procedure.
The successful candidate must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, hold a current Illinois State license as a Registered Professional Nurse, and meet the physical requirements of the job. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Two years of nursing acute experience is mandatory. Two years experience in a GI lab or gastroenterology setting is preferred. Experience with nurse-administered sedation is preferred.
