What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician position at Center for Health Ambulatory Surgery Center at Kumpf Blvd?
We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a full-time position on our surgical team. The Endoscopy Technion is a critical member of the healthcare team responsible for assisting in endoscopic procedures and maintaining the functionality of endoscopy equipment.
Three key roles are:
Ensuring a safe, clean and efficient environment for both patients and healthcare providers during screening coloscopies
Performing routine checks and troubleshooting of endoscopies instruments to ensure functionality
Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment following strict infection control protocols
The successful candidate must have graduated from high school or equivalent, must have a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate or PCT (Patient Care Technician) or equivalent. 2 years experience in a clinical setting and/or sterile processing is required.
Certification in endoscopy technology or sterile processing (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
