Program: The Trauma Recovery Center located in Camden City, NJ is modeled after the University of California, San Francisco Trauma Recovery Center. The TRC provides assertive outreach and multidisciplinary mental health, case management, and supportive services to crime victims living in Camden and Gloucester Counites who typically experience barriers to accessing traditional services.
Role Description: The Clinical Program Director if Full-Time providing strategic and clinical leadership for the Trauma Recovery Center (TRC), ensuring that services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with the National Alliance of Trauma Recovery Centers (NATRC) model. The Director oversees all aspects of clinical programming, support services, supervision, compliance, quality assurance, and community partnerships. This position is responsible for recruiting, training, and orienting new TRC clinical staff to provide assertive outreach, clinical case management, and trauma-informed, evidenced based psychotherapy services to acute survivors of violent crime. This role ensures that survivors of violence and trauma receive comprehensive, accessible, and evidence-based services designed to promote healing, resilience, and empowerment. The Program Director fosters a culture of safety, trust, empowerment, and collaboration while guiding the program’s vision, advancing outcomes, and promoting continuous growth in alignment with CFS’ mission.
Qualifications
- Active NJ State License Required: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Ability to supervise clinical staff under New Jersey State Board regulations
- Minimum of five (5) years providing direct clinical services under independent clinical license, with demonstrated expertise in trauma recovery and mental health treatment.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in supervisory, management or leadership role capacity within a behavioral health, trauma recovery, community, or victim services setting.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, adverse childhood experiences, and evidence-based trauma interventions.
- Understanding of the social and environmental dynamics impacting urban communities
- Experience providing multidisciplinary care coordination for individuals impacted by trauma and violence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compassionately.
Annual Salary Range: $88,000 to $91,000
