Position Summary:

The Center for Family Service is looking for a Part-time Cleaning Crew Member. The Cleaning Crew primary role is to ensure all bathrooms and common areas are clean and ready to receive clients and all garbage is removed. We are looking for someone who has a few extra hours in the morning or each evening who desires some extra income to help keep our State and personal contracts clean. Night cleaning teams and morning teams are needed to ensure bathrooms and common spaces are clean and ready to receive our clients the next morning. This usually involves only a few hours a morning or evening.

Job Type/Status: Part Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean bathrooms
• Clean common areas
• Other duties as assigned by the Cleaning Crew Supervisor
• Escalate any problems or complaints to the relevant supervisor or Team Lead.
• Prioritize important tasks and manage your time effectively, holding to scheduled shifts.
• Man and operate equipment relative to your role.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Conduct administrative duties and errands as required.
• Maintain Vehicle Mileage Log. (Drivers)
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, removal of garbage and or recycling, etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and hazardous conditions of facility report to supervisor.
• Maintain basic maintenance of equipment report issues with equipment.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as directed.
• Notify Cleaning Crew Supervisor or Team Leader of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as well as bathrooms and kitchens as needed by contract.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Make sure all Safety Data sheets are up to date and in closet and accessible.
• Always be dressed appropriately to work. Clean, Neat and no open toe shoes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Previous experience in cleaning
