What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist and Social Media Coordinator position at CENTER FOR FAMILY PRACTICE?
We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly medical receptionist for a busy medical and aesthetics practice in Latham, NY. Duties will include fielding phone calls throughout the day, scheduling patients, electronically faxing, sending communicating with providers and nurses, and checking out patients. This position will require being on the phone for the much of the day. This position would be working directly with patients, so customer service skills are highly valued. We are preferably looking for someone with some understanding of medical terminology, but it is not a deal-breaker. Experience with electronic medical records and prior work in the medical field is a great advantage in this position. Knowledge of Medent is helpful.
The social media coordination is designed to promote our Center for Aesthetics Medical Spa and the products and services we have available. Responsibilities include creating a monthly social media calendar, posting daily to our social media accounts, replying to comments and messages on social media accounts, creating a combination of fun and informative videos, working with our website company, and creating graphics for the office to display or post. There is an opportunity for point-of-service sales commission as well.
