- Write clear, persuasive grant proposals and supporting documents that meet funder requirements and highlight program impact
- Manage grant application deadlines, submission processes, and follow-up communications to ensure timely responses
- Develop and implement engaging social media campaigns across multiple platforms to increase visibility and community engagement
- Create compelling content including posts, stories, videos, and newsletters that showcase organizational achievements and upcoming initiatives
- Monitor social media analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies for maximum outreach
- Maintain accurate records of grants received, reports submitted, and social media metrics using databases such as Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM tools
Skills
- Strong proposal writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive narratives tailored to funder guidelines
- Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities and stay current on industry trends
- Proficiency in technical writing, editing, proofreading, and financial report writing for grant applications and reports
- Experience with contract management, including understanding of contracts related to grants or partnerships
- Familiarity with databases such as Salesforce or other CRM systems for tracking funding activities and donor information
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies, program development, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Effective writing skills for creating engaging social media content that resonates with diverse audiences
