Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site hybrid role for a Social Media Manager located in Fort Collins, CO. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies, managing daily content calendars, optimizing posts for maximum reach and engagement, and analyzing social media performance metrics. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to align social media activities with larger marketing initiatives and ensuring that all communication aligns with brand guidelines.
Client Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients on social media scheduling platforms.
- Maintain professional, proactive, and timely communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and confident in social media strategies.
- Engage in client meetings, presenting performance reports, content plans, and strategic & creative recommendations.
- Manage expectations and provide strategic guidance to clients regarding social media trends and best practices.
Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and business objectives.
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
- Plan and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring content aligns with each client’s goals and key campaigns.
- Identify opportunities for growth, engagement, and brand awareness across platforms.
- Set measurable KPIs and track performance, adjusting strategies based on analytics.
Content Management & Oversight:
- Scheduling, posting, and day-to-day account management across multiple platforms.
- Engaging appropriately, responding to comments/messages on behalf of clients.
- Proofreading copy and graphics.
- Reviewing and collaborating with clients to obtain approval for content before it goes live.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor social media metrics, trends, and insights to optimize campaigns and provide actionable recommendations.
- Analyze performance reports for clients on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Analyze campaign success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Agency & Workflow Management:
- Manage 10–12 client accounts simultaneously, maintaining organized workflows and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely content delivery and campaign execution.
- Contribute to agency processes, improving efficiencies in social media management and client communications.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of social media management experience, preferably within an agency setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience developing social media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and ROI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with an eye for design, storytelling, and visual content.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in client needs and platform updates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of paid social advertising (Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Reel & Video content creation and editing experience.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
